I just wonder - will the Democrats flat out boo?

Maybe throw stuff?

Some may even walk out.

Did Ryan and Pence coordinate their tie color?

Did it bring a tear to your eye?

Quite obvious his cohorts didn't let him write his own speech.

You can only extend the olive branch - the other side has to reach for it

Not sure the crybabies are willing to do that - even though the signals are there for some compromise - unlike what Obama did on Obamacare...     Democrats could play a role in Immigration, and Tax reforms...

Prof, that's what it's going to take to keep things civil. The republicans have  to bend some on things near and dear to the democrats..

That's true ... that was the right thing to do. I DEM Joe Manchin standing and applauding when his party sat, I did see a few Democrats scrambling to reach out for a handshake after the speech as well.

The Black man who was guest, the man who's 17 year-old son was killed by an illegal Mexican, says in an interview the Black Democrats ignored him and all he could do was ignore them too. I mean the man crushed when his son, an aspiring football talent, was killed and he places the blame on the open borders.

Even that won't matter.

Democrats wouldn't applaud when Trump proposed things they had been pushing.

Why is that?

Party first.  That is why.

Now the pendulum has swung the other way.

The Republicans weren't going to dare help with any Obama legacy healthcare plan either.

What kind of help do you think Pelosi wanted when she said her famous words.

Further proof that a representative third party is needed.  Current gridlock, and the 2 party system provided us with really no viable choice for President.  I am still trying hard to be optimistic about Trump, but he is beginning to look more foolish than I thought he would in that position.

And Oprah is in the bull pen warming up for the Democrats.

Idiocracy.

Apparently to be President you need to be on TV first so the masses know who they are voting for.

And we wonder why we lost our Republic?
