Chuck Berry - RIP
« on: March 19, 2017, 08:02:04 AM »

Chuck Berry could rock!

I'm sure the mom and dads of the time were mortified.

He made it to 90 - not bad!

Very interesting guy.....big headline down here in St. Louis today.

He resided there and put on a lot of benefits for good causes even in his later years.

This may not have been one of his top hits but it sure was popular with GIs returning from overseas...  a couple of generations of them.

Actually Linda Ronstatd did her own version in the late 70s for a couple of more generations.

I've always wondered how an artist feels when another artist remakes one of their hits but I suppose some feel honored.
