I want to find a program for my son. He's 3. I only want something that lasts a few hours a day. Any ideas....

You could call out to the ISD (242-5799) and talk to someone in the Early Childhood department.  They have a Be Their Hero from Age Zero summer program.

Also, the library system has great librarians and programs for the little kids.  With summer story time, there are lots of times and locations.  My 3 year old attends the family story time, but my older children really enjoyed the "Small Fry" and "Laptops" programs.  I bet its on their website, but the upcoming weeks schedule is in the Sunday paper every week.

There are several Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) groups in the county too.  When fall comes, Monroe Public will put out its Community Education program, and there are usually choices for the 3-5 year old crowd.

Yes, the library programs are posted at the Monroe County Library System's web site and listed once a week in The Monroe Evening News.
