We had 58 on one thermometer this afternoon and 59 on another one.  The humidity inside has 'skyrocketed' today ;) ;) ;)

With all this wind I sure am glad we don't have a foot of fresh snow out there blowing around 8* 8* 8*

Our daughter in Florida has been real busy with work so I haven't bothered her for weather updates.  She does let me know if they have tornadoes which they've had several of this year.

13ABC Toledo is saying we could get part of a snowstorm on Wednesday or Thursday this week...   a few inches possible!

I may get to burn that brush pile yet ;) ;) ;)

Yeah, it looks like we're getting 2 or 3 inches Wednesday night, into Thursday morning.
They'll probably be calling it the "Blizzard of 2016"!!!   ;D ;D ;D

It's supposed to be 43 degrees tomorrow, so that's the day I'm putting the plow back on the truck.

Might be the last time I plow this season.

Just heard them say 'heavy rain' possible on Wednesday before it cools down and switches over to snow.

I was going to put the mower deck on the IHCC and mow some then switch over to the blade so I could push snow on Thursday...   not too often you can mow one day and then push snow the next!!!

I may still do it tomorrow and just have to settle for a 48 hour span 8) 8) 8)

I've seen this up on Lake Superior although at the time I saw it they referred to it as 'shelf ice'.

I've also watched it out on Stoney Pointe and Pointe Aux Peaux although the ice was several inches thick.  Someone (not sure if it was the road commission or the resort district) had a small dozer there and they would go push the ice across the road out of the way every couple of hours.  It was some nasty sounding crunching and grating for sure!!!

I'm waiting for the "deals" on snow moving equipment...

If the blizzard misses us this week - the price may be right.

TSC still had a pretty good selection on Sunday when we were there.  They also had all their shredders and chippers and log splitters out on the 'porch'.  Did't see any new mowers yet but they could be there soon!

Blizzard Bill is explaining on how the approaching storm could vary from maybe 2" to as much as 8" of snow.  Something about when it will 'bottom out' down in Texas and how that will then 'bounce' it back toward us.  Like a good pool shot it will all depend on where it bounces :o :o :o

They're talking more on 13ABC about the impending 'storm'.  Now they're upping the high end to as much as 10"!

So far I don't think we have anywhere to go on Thursday so I may just stay home and wait for the storm to move on out and then I'll go out and clean the driveway.

We may even get some 'thunder snow' during the storm!!!

I still think we're going to get mostly rain.  The snow will come, but a lot of it will melt before it starts piling up.  I'm guessing a couple inches, maybe three when it's all done.

That is AFTER we get about an inch of rain.

The roads are going to be a MESS!!!!!

I put the plow back on my truck today.   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Not often I put the snow plow on my truck while wearing a t-shirt, on a sunny day!!!!
