No, the migration hasn't yet taken place. The temporary server we are on now is an improvement over the shared server. This, coupled with the fact that I deactivated some of the feeds (on monroenews.com, for example) that put extra wear on the host, has probably increased load speed. Apparently, though, the dedicated server to which we're moving should be able to handle all our features and have better speed.

I'll update as I know more.

The migration is now complete. We're operating from a dedicated server, so performance should be back on track. Thanks for your patience.

It should be noted that DNS migration could take longer for some users (and some regions) than others. The new location of the 'monroetalks.com' domain has to be distributed all over.

The “Show new replies to your posts” link keeps including a post that I made in which I was the last person that posted.
When I click on it and then return to the “Show new replies” link again, it’ll show a different post that I made (again I was last to reply)

The number eight with a parenthesis still must be code for the smiley with sunglasses.

Thanks for the inclusion of the spell check. I tried it and the program wanted to change a word to the same exact spelling so I let it.

This is what I see when I visit:

"Sorry Frenchfry, you are banned from posting and sending personal messages on this forum.
This ban is not set to expire."

No emails, no warnings, no communication whatsoever...just that ban

May be what happened to the other libs as well.

I guess disabling the report to admin link only on the lib side was indicative of the slanted games they play.

Enjoy your spoon-fed Faux News type right-wing echo-chamber.

Edited to add:

This is the only way to answer some of the questions posed:

1) I did nothing to warrant the banishment, it's political.

2) It's the router that's blocked but considering all the nonsense right-wing games being played by those running the site...it's just not worth it to bypass the banishment block.

3) The moron stalkers from MT contemplating a visit will be considered a threat and can expect to have a bad day if they act upon those idiotic thoughts.

1.  My avatar is not showing...   just the avatar box with the little red x

2.  I am getting my email notifications when I receive a new PM...   but not the popup on the site...

neither ones are critical to me, but just trying to help out...

Ya I don't need to be reminded I was the last person to post in a topic! I want to see new replies to my posts.

We were out yesterday afternoon picking up limbs from all the wind...   she found a long lost tennis ball and she was having the best time chasing it...

I made one more DNS modification today that should solve some of these little issues, but it could take a day or so to work its way through. I'll check on things to see if problems are persisting on Monday and, if so, will take further action at that time.

Thanks for taking the time to notify us of these issues.
