When you live in an urban enviroment I can see that is a necessity.  I do like BRD does, pile it and roast it.

I've never tried the compost thing...   to easy to just throw it in the field and let nature do it on its own... with certain biodegradable waste.    My leaves get chopped and burned for the most part -
Still waiting for them to realize its fall!

Fall?

Feels like winter.

I see the building often called South Monroe Townsite  - has stripped off all the old facade of the various storefronts...

Curious the plan

Going to be around 50 by Sunday and then drop back into more typical winter weather.

It's the 'freeze-thaw' cycle that makes the potholes and makes them bigger so we may see a 'bumper' crop this year.

Yep, the same ones keep popping up every year.  There are a bunch on Smith between Summerfield and Jackman that surface every year.  They are getting quite large and some day they might figure out they ought to cut out a small section of the road and put in a base and pave over that area.
Toledo is almost undriveable.  Stay in the left lane for sure.  Douglas Rd NB from laskey to Alexis is undriveable.  I got off and went up thru the neighborhood streets.

Whatever happened to roads in Toledo being so smooth?

They must have hired someone from the MCRC to consult with them.

I think Hicks-Hudson hired out the paving to her buddies..  Maybe the 12 letter mayor will do better but I doubt it.  He's just another Democrat.

Least in Moron County we all know the MCRC is just plain poor.

This is cold patch season, IOW, black oily sand in a hole and nothing more.

Toledo just like all other big cities controlled by democrats.  Graft and corruption.
Reading now that the democrats wanted the Ex city council lady to be treasurer even though she can't manage money and nobody would bond her.
So they found a bondsman but it cost an extra $10,000 a year..
She must be a person the democrat machine knows they can dominate and get her to do everything they want and hire all their friends and relatives.

Sunshine...

We have the front door open and the dog is laying there utilizing the solar gain and waiting for the mail truck.

Sometimes if the mail gal sees him in the door she'll leave a treat for him.

New traffic lights bagged and waiting at the corner of Lewis and Sterns.

The current lights hang from 4 'drops' (I have no idea of the technical term).  The new system will hang from 12 and be spread out much, much wider.
