Can a little oil runoff be as bad for Lake Erie as Toledo dumping millions of gallons of raw sewage every time it rains?

Or the phosphorous that is in the fertilizers that get flushed into Lake Erie?

The sewage generates phosphorous too...  I've been around the great lakes my entire life and I've never seen the algae anywhere or anytime like it has been on this end of Lake Erie the last few years.

If it's not phosphorous then it is for sure something that has changed very recently.

I quit dumping my used motor oil in the road to keep the dust down this year.........

That's good...  it won't help with the algae blooms but it will help the environment in plenty of other ways.  I've never been all that thrilled with the brine the road commission puts down and all the salt in the winter and how that can all impact the environment too.

I even wonder about the sugar beet juice and if they've ever studied that enough to know if it's actually smart to spread it on the roads where it will eventually end up in the entire watershed :-\ :-\ :-\

Took the Vista laptop to a computer guy.  He said the biggest problem was AVG.  His though is they have made so many updates lately and have excluded anything thoughs to the impact on XT and Vista machines.
He cleaned up machine some but dumped AVG and put on PANDA..
He also replace the ad blocker with Ublock.
He liked my Ccleaner.
He also added smartdefrag which he likes better than running the microsoft one.
And he also added a new home page...https://besthomepageever.com/
I have't tried to customize it yet.  He did some based on the feedback i gave him on the sites i visited.

I run the CCleaner defraggler.  Have for years.  MN got me interested in Woot.  Just bought a Magellan Roadmate 6250LM with lifetme map upgrades and a built in dashcam for 65 bucks.  It's a hoot...from Woot.

They are 129 bucks on the Magellan site.

Now I can be like the Russian drivers and record the antics of everyone....

Tiger Direct has some good prices on computers too.

Never cared for AVG at all.  Been a Norton 360 person for many years.

Just read in an email from Cnet that CCleaner had been hacked and malicious code installed. If you are using 5.33.6162 or Cclean cloud
v 1.07.3191 delete it and reload the current

I just received notice that Mozilla Firefox no longer going to support browser for XT and Vista.  Seems i have both.  Their suggestion is to upgrade to W-10.
I don't think i want to do that with 2 very old computers.

Yes they would.  Small boat anchors.  I don't know what I have but whatever it is, it's quick and painless.  I have a couple old obsolete computers I need to take out and have target practice with.

Yeah the XT might make a good anchor for a small boat.Visa is a wide screen Compaq that has been really good for 12-15 years. But oh is it slow mostly because of all the embedded videos
