I wasn't driving, but today I saw a Monroe resident with the impressive ability to judge a person's character based on their ancestry and the kind of vehicle they drive.

I just came back from Temperance, noticed on Lewis Ave they are making a new park, and a little farther down a new cemetary.

Saw another SWAT raid in the beach area.

It's still going on right now.

Right across from the one they raided about two weeks ago.

They love using those flash bangs.

The chatter on the online scanner mentioned "blitzkrieg"....could be related.

But that sort of stuff must not be newsworthy enough for the MEN to report.

I guess disabling the report to admin link only on the lib side was indicative of the slanted games they play.

This is the only way to answer some of the questions posed:

1) I did nothing to warrant the banishment, it's political.

2) It's the router that's blocked but considering all the nonsense right-wing games being played by those running the site...it's just not worth it to bypass the banishment block.

3) The moron stalkers from MT contemplating a visit will be considered a threat and can expect to have a bad day if they act upon those idiotic thoughts.

So that explains it! I wish the MEN would report on this...we had no idea what was going on! I was outside with my kids earlier and the bang was so loud my youngest daughter started crying and wanted to go in the house. We're back in Woodland Beach...

Hey FF, I seen them in the bank (PNC) about 5:25pm. Think it was the same guys? When they pulled out I thought they might be going to one instead because the back doors were open!

Yep, they probably left about that time....maybe they were staging for another raid.

The three unmarked Ford Taurus vehicles left first followed by the combat-like vehicle with 5 military-like outfitted guys clutching onto each side headed toward Dixie.

The MCSD left last.

Not sure when the EMS vehicle left.

The raid was weird....the combat carrier parked sort of heading west but all the activity was at a house on the east side of the street...directly across from the one they raided two weeks ago...in fact just before they left, one SWAT member with his automatic gun at the ready started questioning a guy sitting on the steps of that prior raided house.

I thought at first that they made a mistake two weeks ago and finally came back with the correct address....which would explain why the MEN didn't report the action...but then I remembered they took a guy in cuffs....but they still could've made a mistake.

Didn't really consider whether it was a drug raid at the time.....I went through the possibilities such as fugitive arrest, a warrant arrest, reluctant home eviction, or maybe somebody threatening suicide.

But chances are we'll never know the details.

Lacking a genuine local news source is disheartening.

I'd love to hear the reasonable defense of a three foot Confederate flag flowing off of the back of a pickup truck.

Oh...I don't know...maybe to give the local country bumpkins something to talk about.

Let's call it a conversation starter.  :)

Yep, they proudly display 'em on the homes around here.

I sort of wondered if those flags offended people.

I would never do such a thing.

Maybe I'm being insensitive but I don't see the harm.

Sort of reminds me of those yellow tea bagger don't tread on me flags.

It's a free country...to each their own.

Silly thing to fight about.
