And for those Christians who are calling for God's wrath upon the perpetrator of this crime, remember that if you truly believe you have to believe that if this person is repentent, then he or she gains a spot in Heaven.  It's about forgiveness.  Hate the sin, not the sinner.  Maybe y'all know something different than what I was taught.

Nope, I have nothing different, Ell.  I agree 100%.

But there is a very important word in your post: "IF" this person is repentant, then yes, they will be forgiven, and they will be saved.  No doubt in my mind.

IF.

If not, they are doomed to spend eternity in Hell.

No doubt in my mind about that either.
Jesus was VERY clear that anyone that harmed a child would be better off if they were never born.

Yes, live, the "if" is the all important word in my post.

Agreed.

Besides, I believe justice WILL be served.  Eventually.

The bastard that killed this little girl will pay a price FAR greater than anything our justice system could hand out.  Frenchie may make fun of this comment, but I am a firm believer that God will avenge this girl's death.

Whoever killed Neveah (as well as anyone who does likewise to ANY child) will enjoy spending Eternity in Hell being butt-buddies with Josef Stalin, Adolf Hitler and the guy who shot John Lennon.

If whoever did it is of the mind to be repentent, they would have given themselves up long before now. Hell is full of last minute "I'll repent if they catch me" murderers.

I totally AGREE....REPENT if caught...like I said before..IMO we are looking for more than one person.
May they both ROT in Hell for what they did!

I was feeling bad lately myself wondering why the person or persons that killed
her haven't been brought to justice yet. It is disheartening to read about the
Detroit crime lab and all their mistakes and wrong-doing, and wonder if that
effected her case. There are so many in this community that hold Nevaeh in
their hearts and are working dilligently for justice, I can't help but hold out hope
that justice will be served.
