I remember when this first came out back in the early 60s...

I've kind of experienced some of this the last several weeks myself.  Although my wife went with me on our camping trips to southern Illinois and to Northern Michigan she stayed home while I made a 'quick trip' to Florida.  I checked the trip odometer last night and I drove 3636 miles in addition to all the work I did.

Anyway, I'll throw this one out to all the individuals that put aside their nice comfortable life here at home to travel to either Texas or Florida to 'give a hand' when and where it was needed.

I encountered electric linemen (they were very visible), ambulance crews, firefighters, regular military (mostly Army) and some National Guard troops.  I know there were Red Cross workers helping out although I didn't actually encounter any.  Fortunately I had taken everything with me I needed.

A good morning to dedicate a song to my current least favorite follower...

the 'keyboard' cowboy!!!

Just substitute 'keyboard' for 'rhinestone' and you're there ;) ;) ;)

LOL...

some good ones on there.  I'll file that list away for now...

maybe the next salvo can come from there.

I never have read that much of TPP's posts since most are on the politics board...   the sports posts have been rather spot on though!

But, he (she?) needs to be a little more 'informed' about what they're posting when they venture outside their 'safety' zone.

Everyone is 'entitled' to their 'opinion' on what personal info should and shouldn't be available to the public and sometimes it is a 'fine' line...   but I know the laws and regulations and keep up with (continuing education required every year) them and work and live by them.

One of the biggest developments in recent years has been with what can i legally photograph on someone's personal property (even less restrictions for a business)?  The general guideline was if I can see it from a public property (or an accommodating neighbor) then the owner can expect no right to privacy (not being photographed).  Then when the drones all became readily available to anyone with $49 it raised some new issues.  Eventually the drones pretty much won out although there are still a few restrictions still in the development stage.

Gotta love modern technology ;) ;) ;)
