I'm guessing they are the same owners.  And there is one in Maumee Ohio by the same name.
Like I mentioned I'm not a big fan of Mexican food and i don't know if a lot of other people are either.
Most comments i hear about the quality of Mexican restaurants is, how good their margaritas are.

Aren't they the same owners - the one in LaSalle and Dundee?  Both La Fiesta?

They are one in the same...  Different cooks and management however.

In as much as we don't consume alcohol we have no idea about the drinks.

LaFiesta on Telegraph has killer Taco's and the prices are real good.

Never tried the one in Dundee, but have the one on Telegraph.

Food........a subjective average.

Salsa and fresh baked chips........very good.

That's why I called it subjective......I've tried the combos that were pretty indicative of the genre, just wasn't overly impressed for a 10 to 15 dollar meal.

Enchiladas with melted cheese are good and of course tacos

Don't like the baby shitte either.  CL does soft taco's at home ocassionally and the baby poop she gets is on par with the LaFiesta poop, IOW, not good.

The Burrito's and Taco's are good, I just stay away from the baby poop.

My niece made roasted Brussels Sprouts with cranberries for Thanksgiving dinner and they were fantastic.

Recently been going to El Maguey II next to Jake's Liquor on Dixie.  Their #13 Burrito Grande with Cubed Beef combo is what I always get.  You need to ask for the hotter salsa though.

Wife won't go to Vaquero's after the roach incident. I told her now is the safest time to go!

Lonestar (in Dundee) went tits up and closed their doors, think it was nationally.  Steaks sucked but had good burgers.
There was a sign on the door informing employees of the closing -  nice way to do business...

There is a sign next to it telling them the next owner will take their applications - and pointed them to the restaurant bar just down the same strip.

We went out to the mall tonight.  My wife had a few things to look for and it gave me a chance to walk without being out in the snow.

First time we'd been there since last winter and there sure are not many stores left.  They've even closed the service counter!!!

I'm guessing there will be the typical annual exodus again after Christmas which will really leave them bare to the wall.

At least 3 security guards walking around inside and I saw the outside patrol car going too.

Lots of people at the theater or there really wouldn't have been many people there at all.

LOL

My roach comment reminded me of an incident I had in high school (that I still remember all these years).  Was having lunch in the cafeteria and it was Friday so I got the fish sandwich with a side of Mac and Cheese.  Was eating my sandwich, picked up a fork full of mac and cheese and underneath the mac and cheese was a nicely cooked roach.  Looked like it was sleeping there..

Didn't finish my lunch and after that I brown bagged it..... ;D

I could have ate it and not even known it.....
