Professor,  I agree with you 100%.  I went for the first time a few weeks ago and also had the reuben type sand. it might have been called a Boston something or other.  It was awesome.  Others had burgers that looked really good too.  The little bucket of seasoned fries were pretty darn good too..

Visited a "new" place for me -     the Mason Jar     Consear and Secor.      Bar type atmosphere but the menu selection was fancier than bar food - and the food and quality was very good!    (had the "reuben" sandwich - can't recall their name)   and Seared Ahi Tunu for a shared appetizer was very interesting find!

Glad to hear the review.  I'll go anywhere for a great Reuben and I've noticed their place a few times lately when we've been down that way!

It's not the traditional reuben with thousand island.  It does have good corned beef and some kind of cole slaw and bacon..

I'm not necessarily hung up on 'traditional'...

I enjoy some variety too!

Mason Jar doesn't have a photo of their sandwich but they do have this description:

Works for me.  A good reuben is hard to beat.

I'm new to the reuben...    and not sure why I never had them much before -  but the variation was nice twist.

best I've had is in Dunedin Fla so far - a smoked Reuben  - can't recall the place but its right in the heart of the town next to Flannigans Irish Pub

That was most likely the Dunedin Smokehouse...

worth the trip if you're anywhere along the Florida Gulf Coast!!!

Pizza is good at N&N, beer selection is just OK, but unfortunately the service is much too spotty to be a reliably good spot.  I certainly wouldn't go there with a large group.

So long as they have Root Beer, I'm good to go.

Understatement for the entire month of December.  Unfortunately we had a few too many bad experiences in a row so we haven't been back in a long, long time >:( >:( >:(

Jimmy John's finally got their parking lot asphalt installed.  Looking just from the street the interior looks like it's ready to go.

About the same time we noticed their parking lot finished we were at Meijer one night around 7ish and the paving crew (Al's maybe?) was working hard on the lot at the Panda Express across the drive from Wendy's on the Telegraph side.  I haven't heard that they're open yet either.

Panda is open. I ate there last night for the first time ever. The girls said they opened Tuesday at 1;00. They threw that place up overnight practically.
I had orange chicken and Walnut shrimp and it was ok. There menu is not extensive but theres a good selection especially if you find something you like and stick with it.
They were packed and I think they'll do good at that location.
It would be interesting to know the whole story on what Jimmy John's took so long.

We were at Meijer on Monday and there were some guys working on the roof still.

Need to be out there today or tomorrow so we'll swing by and check it out.
