Lots of fog early but it's burning off pretty good now.

Last night late we had a lot of seagulls in the field across the road but now we're down to just a few.  If they're waiting for the farmer to work up the field they're going to get hungry as that is usually one of the last fields to get worked up.  It's low and wet and had standing water not even a week ago.

Heavy dew and lots of sunshine!

Lots of stars last night going to bed.  The sky was very clear.

I took the dog with me on my walk yesterday and we went across the fields.  At one point the dog scared up a wild duck.  I wonder if it was one of the ones that we saw out by the road a few days ago?

Then I noticed the dog and his big head.  He thinks he's turning into a real hunting dog with all the wildlife he's seen lately ;D ;D ;D

The neighbor directly across the road mowed yesterday afternoon and now our lawn that really didn't look too bad except in a few places is really looking like it all needs it now!

Watching a squirrel perched up on the Charter (or whoever they are these days) cable crossing the road.  I would think that would be a little wet and slippery up there this morning.

I see a little sunshine poking through a lot of clouds.  It rained in the night so vehicles going by are splashing water out of the potholes.  The water does kind of cushion the 'thud' sound when they hit the pothole though ;D ;D ;D

I've gotten to the point where I ignore the thud.  We have some whoppers out front but the idiots out here still go 70 down the road.  The 8am indy driver comes by every morning flat out in his Dodge pickup.  It's starting to sound very rough, muffler is falling off and the ball joints are screaming.  You take foot deep craters at 70+ day in and day out, something has to give eventually.

He'll probably be trading it this spring to some unsuspecting car dealer to sell to another unsuspecting buyer and he'll get a new one or another used one to beat to death.  Continuous cycle out here.  Beat 'em and loose 'em and beat another.

Easy to tell a beater mobile.  Always covered in mud / dirt, usually has a boom box radio with a younger driver and the shocks and suspension is shot and sounds like it.

Drove to Ann Arbor to see Mom today, I saw nothing but blue skies and clear roads all the way.

Sun shining and I don't see any clouds anywhere.

I see daffodils blooming out by the road.

I also see a Forsythia that looks kind of sad.  Not many blossoms on it at all.  Supposed to push close to 80 tomorrow so maybe that will help it.

Gorgeous morning

And the afternoon is doing pretty good too.  Enough breeze to keep it from being too hot yet!
