Hi, I'm new here. I saw gas for $2. 78 (cash) at Roesler and Elm this afternoon on my way to work. I can't believe that a barrel of oil is under $75 a barrel and a gallon of  gas is almost $3. I don't understand why gas is going up, when I've read that demand is down and supply is up. Wait and see if we end up at $4+ for gas when oil hits $100/barrel.

Gas is at $2/75 in Toledo this morning. What's it like in Monroe? Need to decide if I should get it before or after a trip to Monroe tomorrow.

Isn't it curious that silver prices have gone up in relation to gas prices?

Didn't the same thing happen with the Bush "Economic Stimulus" package?

Sure did!

Now why would that be????

Gravity works the same way in Zimbabwe as it does here. Think maybe the same laws of economics apply the same here too?

Wonder what gas prices will be if China pulls the trigger and drops the FRN as their reserve currency?

$15.00 a gallon sound close?

No, about five cents a gallon sounds close; if China drops the FRN bomb, our economy ceases to exist (as well as theirs); no demand, infinite supply.

Silver is going up due to speculation, just like gas. If it were inflationary pressure you'd see bread prices doubling too. You aren't.
