I watched an interesting program on the DOC Channel the other night that was very interesting. It was titled "Indoctrinate U" produced by Evan Coyne Maloney  by On The Fence Films LLC  2004 - 2007.

It was a documentary about how America's Universities are used to indoctrinate students into Marxism / Socialism, how LEARNING and HIGHER EDUCATION is NOT their PRIMARY function, but POLITICAL BRAINWASHING is;  and how those students and instructors who resist or speak out against that indoctrination are dealt with.   

....Comrade Kruschev would be Proud !!

Why? Jesus distributed food and drink to the needy, provided shelter for the poor, and so on.

Good works are meant to provide basic needs to citizens in need. Sounds like socialism!

As for heaven being a socialist paradise... well, everyone seems to be equally cared for in Heaven, assuming you make the cut. Equality regardless of your past, as long as you accept Jesus.

Sounds a lot like socialism to me.

Instead of recoiling at the very word, try thinking critically.

As for Colleges leaning towards flaming socialism, give me a break.

Eastern Michigan University is an extremely conservative school. Nearly every conversation I overheard in the commons was either about Jesus and his many good deeds or about the Bible and how best to preach it to fellow students. Politics veered hard right, with Lyndon Larouche toadies around every other week handing out fliers. Campus-wide events were either for sports, or for Jesus. Sometimes, Jesus sports.

No, I'm not kidding. I went there for three years.

The most liberal person on campus was probably my planning professor, whose only "socialist" ties would be wearing sandals in the fall, drinking good beer, and hailing from Oregon (The HORROR! State-level planning organization! SOMEONE CALL WALL STREET!)

btw, my class with Marcuse went well. He went on about how capitalism was masking my true needs by giving me false needs such as "leisure time". Instead of seeking a change to our evil capitalistic ways, I'm too busy enjoying my time off from labor and not trying to change the world for the better.
