Voting Update
« on: November 04, 2008, 08:11:04 AM »

Got there at 5 minutes until 7.  There were already about 50 people in line.  Was finished by 7:20.

Looks like a big turnout.

There were about 2 people in line just now.  Not the huge morning rush as expected at my polling place.

The Monroe Township Hall was crazy this morning. At least the parking lot was when I took the kids for the bus.

I'm going after 9.  I have a meeting with the Dean at noon in Maumee so after 9 works.  Besides, all the regimanted voters will be at work, eeking out their entitlement.

...........It's gonna be ugly. ;D

Got to the church across from Veterans park at about 8:15 walked out the door about 8:45, not to bad considering rural Virginia has hour waits.

I just heard there were people trying to block voters from entering the driveway at Frenchtown Twp. on Vivian.  Any word on this?

I voted this morning (St Pauls--Monroe and Third).  Got in line at 7:15, out the door by 8:15.  I was the 81st person to vote.

My district (I'm west of Monroe County) is small, there was no wait. I was voter 122.
They had some baskets of candy out, and the volunteer ladies are so nice.
