I sort of agree about the sauce.  But, I out-did Inky's tonight. (If I do say so myself)

DELICIOUS Veal Parmesan! ! ! !  (And my sauce was superb!)
homemade sauce is the best! with a little fresh basil, wow! sends prego running for the hills.

Have you tried the new buns?   I am not sure of who makes them but they are round like a burger bun but the are thin.  They are great!  That's all I have been buying since I found them.  They come in a few flavors too - I like the whole wheat or the whole grain ones.    I use them as toast too....yum o!

Where in the heck is the River Cafe in Erie?

It's down there across the Lost Penninsula boat marina.  Down by the Riverview Yacht Club and those boat clubs.  Right next to Webbers.  (Another great restaurant / a bit pricier though)

Tomorrow they're having entertainment out on the deck.  (I'm not sure if it's afternoon or evening though and that is if the storms don't roll in)

There aren't many places right on water to sit and have dinner and a drink without going clear into Toledo.  This place works for me.  :)

The gal that owns it has bought some cars from me and they are a dandy family.

I used to take my boat there in the 90's when i could afford the fuel :-\

Last summer, the water was so low it was very hard to get up onto the docks.

But, tonight I noticed that the water was nice and high.  Only one boat at the docks though.   It's still early in the season and also a threat of rain.   There was however 1 jetski ZOOMING up and down the river. (I mean HAULING! ! )  They were having a ball!
