Jambalaya.  But this time I'm gonna try adding in some crumbled chorizo since they had some links on sale.

And a 1/2 a french bread with garlic spread all over it, add some cheese on top, and warm it in the oven.


And as a beverage?  Why beer of course!  Jambalaya is way to down to earth to mess up with wine, etc.   8) 8) 8)

Tonite it's Turkey Noodle Soup

The remainders from Thanksgiving that we put up in the freezer until we we're burnt out with poultry.

And for those who stay informed, yup we did game hens at Thanksgiving.   1 was left (they come in a 2 pack, odd numbered guests ate here, but I smoked them all). After thanksgiving, turkeys were way-y-y-y-y on sale, smoked a big one of those.

Hence, a great amount of leftovers for soup.

BRD: food for thought, since you stated you ain't big on turkey.
