In other words:

95% of the time we share the duties.

But when I'm cooking, I'm cooking.

And when she's cooking, she's cooking.  I'll help if requested.

But That's MY DANG GRILL!

Tonite: wife is doing ribs on the grill (grrrr, that's MY grill) and finishing them in the oven (sacrilegious).
NO,NO! Not the oven! Maybe you should get her a grill of her own?

Sorry, tried that.  It'd be some wimpy lil gas grill concoction, that might as well be the oven.

Again, it's Friday, so it's carry-out.

And since it's been a month or so, Checkers.

A lil diffferent menu , but still loving (and getting) those Cheese Steak Burger deals.   :P :P :P

Be careful with this offer. Sounds too good to be true, huh? I just checked it out and there is alllllll kinds of fine print associated with these certificates, such as minimum purchase required (usually twice as much as the value of the certificate), mandatory 18% gratuity, no alcohol, blackout days, and the fact that the restaurant can choose to not honor the certificate for any reason. Also, only one cert can be used per month, and some customers have presented their new certificates at the end of the meal only to have the manager tell them the cert number had already been used.

Too big of a hassle, IMO.

Again, it's Friday, so it's carry-out.

And since it's been a month or so, Checkers.

A lil diffferent menu , but still loving (and getting) those Cheese Steak Burger deals.   :P :P :P
Bought three large shakes and some burgers at Checkers the other day...near the bottom of my shake...something foreign came through the large straw. I spit it into the garbage....looked like a lump of breading or something...didn't inspect very closely because my stomach was already turning at the thought of it.

About that time, my little one came up to me with his empty sippy cup....don't know why but I didn't consider my shake contaminated...sort of thinking it was an isolated thing since I didn't see anything else in what was left so I started to pour it into the sippy cup....saw a lump in the flow....fished it out...it was shriveled like a piece of bacon....except it was whitish.

Called the main phone number on the bag.....was asked for my name, age, and if I had any witnesses.... ???...the line of questioning had me puzzled...finally I was asked to freeze it and to take it to the local Checkers.

The next day someone from the local place called....he didn't know how that could've happened since the food wasn't prepared anywhere near the shake machine.
He asked that I take it to the manager and that I'd receive a shake for my trouble...I agreed.

I didn't want to make a special trip so I waited until the next day (yesterday) when I planned to be by there. The person I was supposed to talk to wasn't there but a manager made it right with my order of a couple shakes and a couple burgers.....not for me but for my family....I've lost my appetite.

I told my family to inspect everything carefully.....retaliation for complainers is a very real possibility.

I'm trying for figure out what happened here....my son thought it must've been intentional....I've only been there once when it first opened so they don't know me....I always say please and thank you so it wasn't because I was rude or anything.

I'm thinking that because I ordered three large shakes, maybe the girl had them lined up to fill them one at a time and either some sort of food fight horseplay was the cause or maybe another employee set the girl up.

Sort of get the girl fired so the perpetrator could get a friend hired.....it's all speculation of course.

In any event....watch out for lumpy shakes at Checkers. Yum

Maybe an employee wanted the place to be known as Bacon Shake.  :P

No emails, no warnings, no communication whatsoever...just that ban

May be what happened to the other libs as well.

I guess disabling the report to admin link only on the lib side was indicative of the slanted games they play.

Enjoy your spoon-fed Faux News type right-wing echo-chamber.

Edited to add:

This is the only way to answer some of the questions posed:

1) I did nothing to warrant the banishment, it's political.

2) It's the router that's blocked but considering all the nonsense right-wing games being played by those running the site...it's just not worth it to bypass the banishment block.

3) The moron stalkers from MT contemplating a visit will be considered a threat and can expect to have a bad day if they act upon those idiotic thoughts.
