I never tried spam.

Really?  Try it!

Slice it a little less than a quarter inch thick, and fry it in a dry, non-stick or cast iron pan - it has enough fat in it to keep from sticking.  Brown it just a little - gives it a great flavor!  And two slices fit perfectly on bread!  Like it's made for sandwiches!

Will do. Maybe I can get the rest of my family to try it. Hubby probably has had it, when I met him he ate everything out of a can and I myself had never even had a can soup before. Mom always made homemade of course. I had ravioli for the first time in my 20's thanks to him.
I will try the spam though, with mustard maybe.

LMAO!  You sound hesitant - that's ok!

It can be used where ever ham would be...  That's all it is - spiced ham.  I like it with mustard, because I love mustard.  LOTS of it.  But that's just me.  It would probably be really good with mayo and lettuce, too - maybe with a slice of tomato...  Okay, now I'm hungry!

It's good cut up in an omelet, with cheese, too!

So I made the Brown Sugar Bourbon chicken.
SHHHHHH don't tell but I cheated on this  recipe.
I took a McCormick Grill Mates packet followed the directions on the back and cooked it on the stove. It got lots of compliments though.
I served  it with rice, corn, fresh cukes, fresh  mangoes & watermelon. It was great lunch so I hear,  but I think I picked up a flu bug and my tummy hurts so I might eat later. I know this seems like a huge lunch but because of schedules we eat our dinner early.

No Live not hesitant at all but not feeling well today so any food right now just seems BLAH. I will try it when feeling better and I do agree mustard is great. Especially lots of it.

All this talk of fried bologna ... is making me want that for dinner!

Out of the blue, I've been craving fried bologna, too! Just started yesterday. What's the deal?! lol

Not crazy about spam, tho. Bit too salty for my taste, but a little is ok mixed with other stuff.

I'm on the hook for dinner tonight, and I have no idea what we're having. Maybe Buscemi's carryout!  ;)

LOL! I don't know... but it sounds soooooo good!!  ;D

I prefer fried bologna over the spam, but I'll eat either. It's the same concept to me, but it is definitely two different tastes. lol

All right... now I'm really hungry!
