Good crowds at the fair today, but many of the vendors said sales were slow. People are there, but they're not spending money.
Wife and I were there Monday.
Now, I hate vendors or sales people hounding you, but in reference to the fact that ppl aren't spending money: this year I saw a big difference how the vendors dealt with potential customers. As in: I'm just gonna sit here on my butt, if you gotta question
YOU'LL ask me.
Now, the gals at Republic Homes were cool, that's how it works for that type of display. Let us tour and then we'll ask questions.
And the tattoo guys did it right also, let me see the pictures then struck up a conversation.
And the Lincoln-Mercury gals were Suh-weet!

And also very helpful when needing directions to the Ford display.
None of the above were pushy, but attentive to a prospective customer.
It just seemed that in comparison to previous years most vendors, including food vendors, had a "if you (want, question, need) my item you'll ask me" attitude.
Maybe that's just my impression.
