Hope things work out for ya, Dave.

I never buy extended warranties any more.
They always backfired on me, and they are expensive.
I usually just buy decent quality, and take my chances.   :-\

We don't buy them either Live. Mainly for the same reasons you mentioned. Actually if anything needs repairing hubby has always been able to fix it. We did actually just buy a new computer this week and did buy the warranty. That reminds me they called and said we need to pick it up, it's in.. OOPS I forgot :P

I once tried to get a warranty part for a Whirlpool water heater. That was the last time I bought a whirlpool anything. :P

No, but by judging from where you are on the electrical grid, you probably were not getting the proper current to your TV and have therefore voided any warranty whether implied or purchased.

Or sunspots. Yeah, that's it, blame it on the sunspots.

Sunspots is very bad on warranties, I hear.

Not the topic for this so I'm starting another.  Look in the business thread.

I am making stuffed zucchini.
A friend of mine made it before and I loved it. I am not sure if he actually had a real recipe or if this is one he made up.
I am sauteing onions  fresh muchrooms, peppers together then
adding it to a box of prepared stuffing. Then putting it all in a cooked zucchini. Topping the zucchini with Provolone cheese and baking  it @ 350 until cheese is melted.
He used fresh peppers from his garden which had a bite to them. I am using red peppers. I am thinking any pepper would be fine.

I have canned many fruits & vegetables and so far everything has went well. I absolutely love sauerkraut and could eat it every day. Actually if I sat down and thought about it I probably do.

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried making it? My mom said my grandparents did many moons ago and it was difficult.Maybe she is trying to talk me out of it knowing I would ask her to come over and supervise. :D
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)

The resident expert on sauerkraut would be SideCar. I think I remember him saying he has some that will be ready in a few weeks.

Thanks FB. So what your saying is I won't have to make any. I can just talk him into sampling some of his. ;)

Frozen fish out of the chest freezer and some redskin taters.  Updates on the fridge and the ABC thing on that other thread.

Lazy tonight so it's going to be spartan sauerkraut out of the bag and a package of Dearborn Brand smoked sausage cooked in a cast iron skillet on the back burner on low.

Been there for a while, should be done soon.
