Good luck, hope it turns out for you!

It's a big hit here, and makes the house smell great.

Tonight it was Mega Marys for the kids and Arby's for my wife and me.
Mary (the owner) was working the cash register tonight had a nice conversation with her while waiting for the pizzas.

Well the jam turned out great but I need to make some more tomorrow. I have a  habit of giving my goodies out when I make them and then I run short. I took 10 qts. of pickles and  beets to a family reunion. I had talked to several family members on the phone prior to the reunion and mentioned the pickles and  beets and then promised each one some. As of right now I have 5 jars of jam spoken for.

Darn I was hoping I was a long-lost distance cousin or something  :D haha.
Your family members are very lucky. :)
Glad your jam turned out great (and your pickles & beets too!).

Ended up being Grinders from Dundee Country Kitchen.

We of course did this as carryout, cuz it was Friday.

The grinders were great for the price.  Freakin' huge! Thing is, you can upgrade from a 1/2 to a whole one for a lil bit more than a buck.  Do it! Then you'll have leftovers/lunch!

The steak one is really tasty.  The chicken club was IMHO OK. Those who need less spicy food may like this (not that the steak was spicy, just sayin').  I'll still chow it down, adding stuff to suit my taste.

The Greek Salad we split as a side was real good too, dang good spicy peppers, great bite to them.  Didn't skimp on the beets either so even when sharing enough for all to have some of them.

Nice staff at the register too; attentive and friendly.  Lotsa "to go" menus available so you can always stop by and take 1 home and peruse it before deciding to stop in.

Haven't had enough chances to try many other things on their menu we just needed the change this week.

If you find yourself in the west part of the county (Shaggy) and need a change from MickeyD, BK, Wendy's, Subway, I'd at least give these guy's grinders a try.  Too early to vouch for anything else so far.

Grilled brats, grilled corn in the husk, pasta salad with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, and several cold Leinenkugels.

I'm still waiting for Moaner to deliver her ripe, big, juicy tomatoes!  ;D
