Cucumbers & maters are at least make up for  2 of my meals in the summer. lol
Actually I eat them all day long. I like them plain or with a little vinegar.

I am watching the race at MIS tomorrow from my livingroom. Weather permitting of course. We had season tickets but because some fans have to get drunk to have a good time they ruined it for us so we don't attend the races any more. I am making a welcome home dinner for hubby though.

I am making  salmon patties with       fresh salmon , green and white onion, ckn n biscuit crackers, eggs, worchestire  sauce,  seasonings then fried in Olive oil.

Grilled corn,  fresh green beans. My daughter made a rhubarb and blueberry crisp for dessert. Oh and of course a chilled 2 hearted ale.

Ummmmmm on second thought I might get the beer. :D

Foodtown has their one day special of Whole Beef Tenderloin for $3.99 a lb again, so I went and bought 2 of them, had them cut into 1 inch thick steaks, froze enough for 7 meals and left enough out for one tonight.

Last time they had this sale, I only bought one, but every bite was orgasmic.

Yeah BRD,that is some good stuff. Hubby & I are both Bell fans.
HopSlam is also very good but it cost $ 14 a 6pk. We enjoy Flying Dog and Mad Hatter also.

Tacos & Nachos sound very good Naomi. :)

Glad my kids don't read this forum because we would be having those today and I already have 100 things started. :P
They could eat tacos everyday.

Oldest daughter and her husband and wife and I tend to hit Harbor Inn and Ale for some drafts occasionally...   OK...   regularly :D :D :D

Yeah we like that place also. Great food & beer.
One of these days we will just have to get together and you can try hubby's home brew version of Oberon. Which happens to be my favorite beer. I was a bud light gal until he started me on Bells beer.

Okay, while preparing those packages for the freezer, there were some odds and ends pieces that just didn't make the cut to be frozen.

But it sure was a tasty steak and egg brunch. ;)
