i prefer frozen veggies ESPECIALLY frozen peas. (they thaw in water in 5 minutes and have that satisfying pop)

the only canned veggies i like are tomatoes (juice and stewed) and pickles canned from my families gardens.

Totally agree with you here J. Canned tomatoes, and tomato sauces make cooking much easier

Frozen corn is MUCH better than canned corn, it tastes just like corn off the cob to me. Although I do like canned spinach with a dash of soy sauce, vinegar and a sprinkling of roasted sesame seeds and asparagus with a dash of Olivio margarine.

Also, frozen peas are great for making chicken fried rice. Canned ones, mmmm, not so much.

The only thing I eat canned is tomatoes, and on the odd occasion in winter, creamed corn, because I can't make it fresh.
I can't stand canned peas or spinach... :P

I must have gotten used to the ease of using the canned spinach. I can eat it cold right out of the can, just like Popeye. After I drain the water off and add a bit of vinegar that is. The roasted sesame seeds are just an indulgence.

I HATE beets. It's about the only vegetable that I don't like.

They taste like dirt to me. Well, at least what I remember what dirt tasted like back when I was 2. :P

lol, I agree that beets are an "acquired" taste.

I will not eat lima beans, they are just gross.

Agreed! It's like eating bitter paste. I think the glue from kindergarten probably tasted better. ;)

Butter, salt & pepper.   They'll go.
