I never thought about the ticket prices affecting the amount of sales. I looked into it a little. The mariners lowest price per ticket for a season pack is $13. The sounders are $16. They seem pretty close but don't forget the MLS only plays 30 games a season.

true...but what is the high end of the mariners tickets? and box seats? these days...its hard to sell season tickets anymore. i would think anyway.

True. Again bringing up the ticket prices is a good point. Hopefully the Sounders can keep up the ticket sale. Since it's their first season people are curious, so interest is high.

I hope the sounders keep it up. They have something special in seattle right now, the fans back that team 110%. Did you hear that they also announced two more expansion teams for 2011? I think the MLS will have 18 teams after Vancouver, Portland, and Philidelphia(2010).

I know a lot of people don't even know what the MLS is, but I am just glad we have a domestic league. It will really help level of soccer here grow. Plus its fun to watch the league.

Was that a single game score? Or were they playing a triple header and that was the total score?

I doubt anybody will give him as much money as they did Beckham. Henry isn't a marketing tool like becks is. Besides Henry gets a pretty large check right now anyway.

I meant the MLS will never give him a bigger contract than he has now. He is paid pretty darn well in Barcelona. Besides he said he didn't care about the money.
