We (Don't) Care Disposal?

Is there anyone who uses We Care Disposal for trash pick-up that knows what the heck is happening with them?  The pickup was delayed more than a week last time, (they did have a recording that updated explanations of the problems they were having) but now they haven't picked up the trash again this week, and when I call the number, I just get a recording saying "No one can take your call".  Are they still in business?

My pick up date was Tuesday--last Tuesday.  They missed two pickups and finally came today and picked up.  We (DON'T) Care had problems awhile ago for about a month (apparantly the owner was in jail).  This time their message claimed they had a truck break down.  Anyway, I'm tired of their lack of service.  Reliable is offering great rates and they live up to their name.  I called yesterday and switched.  I was told they are picking up a great deal of former WCD customers right now.

Thank you!  I guess I won't hold my breath at getting my pre-paid money back from WDC, though.  :-\

Call Reliable (sorry, don't have their number at the moment).  They have a special mailing they just sent out with an offer of $39 per quarter plus monthly service and fuel charges.  It ends up at something like $42-$44 per quarter.  A tiny bit more expensive, but they live up to their name.  Plus, they give you a huge trash can and your service includes unlimited pickup and 1 bulk item per week. (WCD is 10 bags/week and 1 bulk item per quarter)

The last thing I heard was they do have a recording about their business, and an option with instructions on how to proceed if you would like a refund. I don't know if they still have the recording up, but it's worth a try.
