A union official told The Associated Press then that GM would offer $20,000 in cash and a $25,000 car voucher to workers who retire early and those who simply leave the company.  And Chrysler said they would too.....



For anyone retiring in upcoming months this would be a good deal.  Would you ever take a buyout such as this?  What do you think?  What about the car vouchers?

I am taking an early out!     I am also taking a 1% penalty.    But soooo worth it!

I get hit with 25%. It gets better after I turn 55.
