Don't know if this is the correct topic, but why don't you get rid of that annoying little popup that keeps appearing. I tried closing it many times but each time I went to a different category it shows up again. Very annoying

You'll only see that if you're not logged in.  Not sure we're going to keep that, just testing out some new features..

I hope the pop-up stays.....people are more inclined to participate when they are logged in.....lurkers don't have the same value.

I am often looking in without logging on.  If I'm at work and have a few seconds to take a quick peek at the conversation, I do.   I only log on if I have something to say or checking my PMs.  And, that stupid ad is HORRIBLE! ! ! ! 

So, Admins. . . . . . PLEASE DO AWAY WITH IT.  It's awful!

I don't see it drawing anyone in who isn't already a member.  It's just aggravating!  And I'm sure your marketers can think of something MUCH more appealing and encouraging.

That drop down box is working great!

Membership is growing and the lurkers would rather sign in than lurk.

I do understand how difficult it is for some people to take a moment to sign in but it's a small sacrifice to make for a healthier forum.....the more the merrier.

Okay back to the actual topic........if anyone wants to see what the quick reply feature is about you'll have to select that option in your profile......but I don't see the point.

You have to go into your settings in order to see it... I can't remember where exactly it is, but you'll find it ;)

Once you check the box in order to see it, it'll show up at the bottom of the screen, in each thread.

I'm all for increasing participation and you can't argue with results.......posting has increased big time   8)
