This option was built in to the current version we are on.   Here's how you do it:

My Messages > Settings > Ignore List
-or-
Profile > Personal Messages

Adding usernames to this list will ignore PM's and any post they make.  I haven't tested it out for myself, but apparently it does the trick.  Let us know if it works.
