There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about this, there are places I see around Monnroe that remind me of searching for her (and, no, FF, it isn't because I killed her).

I just hope and pray there will be a conclusion to this. I hope the utter lack of information about the case is either because of an ongoing FBI investigation, or becase of Monroe LE bungling, and NOT because nobody knows anything.

Sad to say, but it appears there are no leads or clues in this tragedy as demonstrated by the FBI now offering a reward.  Very sad that someone got away with this horrific crime that will haunt this community for years to come.

The efforts of some to continue to seek justice are noble ones indeed, but this is appearing more and more as a crime that may never be solved.....and I am sorry to say that.

Nothing to apologize for.  I agree that the only thing for sure right now is that it has not been solved.  That doesn't mean it won't be.   I believe it will be.  It may be sooner or it may be later.  But, it'll happen.

I think of her every day when I drive home from work past the cemetery.  Every single day she pops into my thoughts and I just have a sense of calm as I think it's all OK and the day will come. 

Funny how we deal with things, isn't it?

Justice for Nevaeh Announces up to $1,500 Anonymous Reward for Information on the Abduction and Murder of Nevaeh Buchanan

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (May 10, 2010)– MONROE, MI:  Justice for Nevaeh, an association devoted to seeking Justice for Nevaeh Buchanan, a five-year old little girl who was abducted last year while playing outside her home in Monroe and brutally murdered, is offering up to $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for committing this heinous crime.

“The citizens of Monroe and the surrounding areas came together to search tirelessly to help find little Nevaeh during the time she was missing” said representatives of Justice for Nevaeh.  “Now we need the community’s help in solving this crime.  Justice for Nevaeh is devoted to seeing an arrest and conviction and is offering a way to provide information anonymously.  We don’t want your name.  We want your information, no matter how insignificant it may seem.  It is often something simple, like someone unexpectedly missing work, falling ill, selling a car, or moving, that provides the one key thing that pulls the entire case together and gets a child killer off the streets.  That’s our goal.”
