I am surprised you were reported.  Reported and warned for having a different opinion?

This is what I mean about unfairness here. That unfairness is why I didn't want to come back here.

I know, neither of us broke any site rules that I am aware of. I'm considering a letter to the editor of every local publication about the 'fairness' that the MEN treats it's readers with in accordance to this board.

I take it some other people were warned about posting in the Amber Alert topic just like what they did to me.

The administration has become heavy handed against some silly stuff.

The moronic posters will slither away when the dust settles......don't alienate the regulars that made this site what it is.

By what I saw, the posters in question only tried to reason with the unreasonable.

Obviously the moderator isn't using good judgment.....must be a female

not just warned, but banned. Yet someone here made clear personal threats, which IS a violation of the TOS and that person didn't get banned. The nasty remarks that I saw were not coming from the people who got banned, it was coming from the one's that reported them. That tells you quite a bit about the character of the admin.

Nothing has changed. I do not expect that I will be here long, the ban hammer is swinging and I am in it's path I am sure. I don't care, because fair is fair and admin is NOT.

If you have a problem with a post, click "report to moderator."

The notices go into the email of everyone on the notification list, whether they are on the boards or not.

Anybody can click on "report to moderator" if there is a concern.

You can also use the "ignore" feature. Administrator has been giving a very good explanation on how that works.

I know how to use ignore, and obviously so does admin.

at first i thought wow...look at all these newbies!! then as it went on...i thought they were really here to help....now...i think alot of them are just here because some of them are truly morbid people! sorta like flies on dog doodoo...or vultures circling a dead antelope!!

You know.. I really thought she would pop up.. She may have and read all that stuff and remembered why she went away....

I am just reading through all this..  I did find it odd.. MM1 started the thread with good intentions.. throughout both threads, some of the "old timers" chimed in a few times to try and refocus the thread... I have never seen anything like it... Totally has a life of its own... It is like a 100 Nancy Graces, facts are not important.. what people think matters more... sensationalize it..

I had to stop reading the thread when a person.. I can't even repeat it, I am surprised that it is in there.. a lot more using the WH*RE word.. If JB had nothing to do with this, with the exception of using very poor judgement.. You know she is in H*ll.. the family is in H*ll.. emotionally.  Where is the compassion. Again.. most people that were on MT before this terrible incident have avoided that thread...

When they do catch the maniac that did this, I can't see the trial in Monroe.. all a defense attorney would have to do is show a few pages of that thread....
