I used to go to the old Walmart.  I don't like the new one.  I don't want to go there.  It isn't that things are different and harder to find.  It is a feeling.  I don't like how it feels.  Like a haunted house or something.  Not explainable, just a feeling I don't like.

Walmart is everything evil in this world today. If you were to dig up old Sam, you would likely find a 666 tattooed at the base of his skull.

The Wal-Mart in Adrian has mostly the same employees as when it opened.  I have never heard a Wal-Mart employee complain about Wal-Mart.  I've gone to Meijers for more than 40 years and their employees complain about Meijers all the time.  I realize a lot of people have a hard on for Wal-Mart but Wal-Mart employs local people and around here, people need the jobs.

One of the benefits of working in a union setting...

you retain your "right to free speech" while you are on the job...

I would imagine the quickest way out of a job at Walmart is to say anything bad about them...

Okay I visited the new Walmart today....very smooth floors....lots of missing stock.

They normally carry the spray bottle of "Out"....an enzyme solution stain and odor remover. (Cat couldn't make it to the box after eating a plant)

Anyway they were out of the 24oz spray...normally it's $4.18 but they did have a new squirt type bottle for $4.00...20oz.

Then the wife told me Meijer has another brand the contains the same ingredients for $2.99....24oz

Meijer wins this time

When I went to the Adrian Wal-Mart 2 weeks ago, there was no "Out" but instead there was "OdoBan" 96 oz. for $9.98 (I have lots of cats  :)).  Haven't tried it yet, tho.

I had to turn my navigation system on to figure my way out of the parking lot.  Could they possibly have maid the aisles to drive down, just a bit more narrow and the in and out a bit more like a mouse maze ....I went for the second time today and realized why I have not gone more often.  I agree..it doesn't "feel" right in there...walked out with NOTHING!!!!!!

The layout seems odd...it seems they ran out of room so they wrapped it around.

And then I saw a bimbo in the parking lot totally oblivious to the one way arrows in the aisles...

I really must rave about their ice cream in those large plastic square looking containers.....well they're really rectangular but it's hard to tell.

It says NEW! freezer friendly 4.5 QT space saving container Country Rich $5.98

Very rich and smooth tasting......reminds me of the Breyers extra creamy that I used to love before that company quit making the stuff.

And here's the shocking part.....it's called a "light" ice cream. I have an aversion to anything light but this stuff is great!

Now I'm not a Walmart fan but I thought I'd share the one positive since they seem to be in short supply.

I hope that wasn't Providence before she turned on her navigation system ;D ;D ;D

I've been a couple of times, and I like it ok--for a WalMart. Good prices on cereal and Progresso soup, but outrageous on some deli stuff, like cut watermelon and hummus, each $6.

The layout of the store seems kind of random. I can't find anything without wandering. Maybe that's the intent, because I always get sidetracked on something I'm not looking for.

I hate the stupid parking lot fiasco. Why couldn't they have added an entrance right there on Mall Rd? Would have made a lot more sense.

That bimbo was probably me! Blonde hair, green jeep?  :D
