I would love to serve in some capacity, but travel requirements of my job would be something that  would be  very  difficult to  overcome.  I doubt that  newcomers to  this region would get frozen out at the  booth as it appears voting trends here are directly related to  name recognition within the communities.  I would refuse to run under either main party ticket as well because I no longer  identify with either.  It doesn't appear here that would work to my advantage either.

With no intention of insulting anyone specifically, it appears that this  area runs rampant in voter apathy, nor do they study the candidates to vote intelligently.

I'd love to see someone who had the long standing local name that had some common sense and a knowledge of what their constituents want  step up to  the table and run.

Now THAT"S funny, BRD.......this forum could not even come to agreement  on what  the common ground is for a party platform.

I would think that ANY association with this forum would be detrimental to any candidate.
