GOP Hypocrisy On Obamacare's Young Adult Insurance Provision
"...Congressional Republicans may not have been happy about the Supreme Court's ruling upholding the Affordable Care Act, but many of their children probably are. According to an analysis by The Huffington Post, dozens of Republicans who want to repeal Obamacare have adult children who are allowed to stay on their parents' health plans thanks to the law, which extended this benefit nationwide. Many of the lawmakers' children are employed and on their own health care plans, but others continue to take advantage of their parents' coverage...".

Tea Party freshmen don't mind spending money on vehicles

A new report by Think Progress says 7 Tea Party freshmen spent more than $106,000 over the last year and a half on auto leases. The top three spenders say they need the vehicles to get around their districts. But at the same time, they want to drastically cut government spending. So why spend tax dollars on leasing SUV's, vans and brand new "crossover" vehicles?

'Family-Values' 'War-on-Drugs' Congressman Had 4 Mistresses, Weed

"A second woman who claims she had an affair with tea party-backed Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-TN) while under his medical care says that their relationship included illicit drug use.

Earlier this month, The Huffington Post reported that DesJarlais had an affair with a patient that resulted in the "pro-life" Republican pressuring the unidentified woman to get an abortion in September 2000.

In an interview published by the Chattanooga Times Free Press on Sunday, a second patient also claimed that she had a sexual relationship with the former physician.

The woman said that DesJarlais prescribed pain medication and smoked marijuana with her during dates at his home in 2000.

"Scott was just a regular guy," she explained. "He smoked. I mean, he smoked pot. He [did] all that stuff."

"His biggest thing that's completely unethical is him just picking up women while he's a doctor," the woman said. "I mean, seriously, that's his big no-no. ... He's just a hound."* Cenk Uygur breaks down the insane amount of hypocrisy DesJarlais has shown and the shocking fact that he's still well ahead in the polls.

'Christian Values' Attorney Charged with Child Porn, Exploitation

"Federal agents arrested a Christian New Hampshire lawyer Saturday and accused her of allegedly driving a teen girl to Canada and cajoling her into allowing her to film her having sex.

The Concord Monitor reported that Biron was arrested by FBI officials Friday before a scheduled hearing on child pornography possession charges stemming from an Oct. 9 arrest.

The federal indictment against Lisa Biron — who has been linked to Alliance Defending Freedom, a right-wing lawyers group that says on its website it advocates for "religious liberty, the sanctity of life, and marriage and family" — includes charges of not only possessing child pornography, but five counts of sexually exploiting a child and one count of transportation with intent to engage in child pornography.*

Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola (Host, TYT University), and Sam Schacher (Host, Pop Trigger) discuss this story of hypocrisy. When an attorney linked to protecting 'values' and 'family sanctity' is found to be committing extreme exploitive acts, is it just a case of projection?

Birther Hypocrisy? Canadian-Born Republican For President

"He has spent less than six months in the U.S. Senate, but Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) fueled speculation about his broader national political ambitions Friday night with a coveted speaking role at a state Republican Party dinner in the early primary state of South Carolina."*

Ted Cruz says he may just have to run for president because the momentum's gotten so strong! Right... But what about the small fact that he wasn't born in the United States? Well, he has an excuse he made up to cover for it. Now, what about the Obama birthers?
