You are right straight!
What a joke. The mastermind of the US NAVY SHIP bombing that took 17 American lives.
He renounces terrorism, so Yemen pardons him.
Take heart. An American drone blew his al queda partner to hell, and American justice will find him too.

Keep this in mind the next time a religious fundie advocates for letting killers go loose just because they "found heyzeus".

This is a prime example of our gov't intrests getting a swift kick.  This man is responsible for killing our sailors, but is released.  I wonder if Yemen asks for help if our gov't will give it to them.

The important question is...
Will Hillary invite him over to her house for dinner??

Knowing her, she probably will.

You know you people are all nuts!  For the love of God, what about those Blackwater mercenaries that shot and killed those innocent Iraqi civilians?  Oh, yea, our country is going to give them immunity. So if you want a license to kill at any time, just join Blackwater and you don't have to worry about being prosecuted for murder. Something just isn't right in this country, is it?

Well, first of all "I" was not speaking of Blackwater, that is another entirely different matter...!

Second, yes they should be punished for any crimes they are found guilty of, the killing of innocents should never be tolerated...What is happening with that whole thing is wrong from the start...!

Third, HOW DARE YOU ASSUME OF HOW I THINK OR FEEL...!

I have a problem with someone who would call me crazy over feeling betrayed by a foreign country that let's "convicted" terrorists free solely on the premise that he has renounced terrorism...WTF

I think YOU are nuts for confusing the two issues...!

Er...ah..um...do you mean we cannot or should not comment on a travesty of justice unless we comment on ALL travesties of justice?

If so, you are numb'er than a pounded thumb.

Ok, then, you are saying that because Bush started an illegal war, and he has sent over these mercenaries to protect the soldiers, then there should be no laws ruling their conduct?  Hey, war is hell, and that is the reason that we should have never gotten into this hornets' nest in the first place. What's fair for some isn't fair for others?  The Iraqi government wants these Blackwater mercenaries tried for shooting and killing innocent Iraqi civilians and I can't blame them. I thought Bush said that we were liberators and not occupiers?
No sir, I have never been in a war zone, but remember all the atrocities that occured in Vietnam?  Bush was quick to sign a statement that he would not go overseas to fight, and he is the one who is starting all these wars. If his 2 chicken-s--t daughters were to go over there, I think you'd see a different attitude coming from him. War is not suppose to be an excuse for murder and pillage!

I thought Blackwater protected the diplomats. I don't see how the government can afford to pay them and not soldiers. Our troops should get just as much  or more than private hires. If they did, morale would go thru the roof!

From what I've heard, the Blackwell mercenaries are being paid alot more than our soldiers and I believe that the first possible $100,000 or more earned is tax-free. Yes, I agree with you, our troops should get just as much as Blackwater.  That group was set-up by Bush and the republicans.
I think they should be tried for first-degree murder because if they killed over in this country, they'd go to prison for life or be executed.  What makes the Iraqis' any different than us?

Iraqi civilians are no different than you or I, and their lives are equally valuable.
I will wait for the facts to come out concerning the Blackwater incident. There have been many cases where innocent people were thought to be suicide/homicide bombers and fired on. It is a war zone, and with those type of things killing our troops, I think careful consideration must be given to the circumstances under which this occurred. If any wrong doing is determined, those responsible should be held to strict accountablility.
The Iraqi government is trying to pass laws to regulate private guards in its country at this time.

Marilyn Monroe, see that is the problem, our government has already given the Blackwater mercenaries immunity, which isn't right. The Iraqi government wants them prosecuted.
I once had a relative (in-law) in the service and believe me, unfortunately it is true that the armed services protects the military. I witnessed it with my own two eyes!
