Like I said earlier.........this is not fair. I pay my taxes, but I am tired of the theory that people who make above average wages should pay for everyone else. Hard work is supposed to pay off with rewards or no one would work hard.
On one hand you praise hard work, on another you don't.
Not everyone can go to college and earn a degree. Some people just aren't that smart. By dealing with people on this forum, you should at least realize that by now, unless you are too thick in the head.
With the attitude that you have shown here, it seems to me that you would be in favor of the old work houses, that provide nothing except room and board, and an 80 hour work week.
You act like every person who has money deserves the money that they got. Even the 17 year old kid whose dad went out and bought him a Ferrari for his birthday. What did the kid do to deserve that lifestyle other than be born into the right family?
What makes that kid, so much better than the guy who works 40 to 50 hours a week, busting his back, so that he can support his family?
You might not know him, because you could never look down that far, with your nose pointing as high in the air as it is.
Everyone else here knows who I'm talking about. The guy who has an IQ of 101 but has a heart 3 times that size. The one who was told that he makes too much money for assistance, but can't pay his rent.
I guess you are too good to be bothered with the likes of him, but I think that he should be able to at least provide for his family, if he is working.
Evidently that makes me a socialist.
So be it.
