Try downloading another browser besides IE # ATG...

I've had pretty good luck with Apple Safari on my laptop which seems to have issues with MT anyway...   so far it has eliminated the shaky screen some of us have experienced...

LOL I just realized that I HAVE that on my computer.... but I've never used it.  :D

Since I typically use a Macintosh, I'm used to using Firefox, Safari and have been testing Chrome.  I've yet to experience the password issue, but upon reporting it, other users of this forum software have chimed in suggesting similar reports.   Some program bugs are narrowed down to specific browsers, so I wouldn't doubt it.  Report back your findings if you do try another browser.    Also agreed, Chrome has really impressed me upon initial tests.  Very fast.

All right... I'm using Safari right now, and it took my password the first time. BUT I don't like it.... so I'd prefer to use FireFox.... and I still have to enter my password twice for that.  :-\

Try updating to FireFox 3.6...just open FF, select help and update
I use FF and haven't had any problems.
If that doesn't work and clearing the cache didn't help, I'd run ad-aware and spybot to search for malware.

Well, I haven't updated it yet (I totally forgot to) but I did click the "login" button thingy at the top and tried to log in there, instead of at the very top.... and it took my password the first time!  :)   So, it's just the login part at the very top of the page.....  :P
