Has anyone been there yet?  It is a well hidden secret let me tell you. 

It is on E. Front across the street from the MB&T branch downtown. 

It has a Mackinaw City feel to it with Monroe prices.

Ice cream, subs, hot dogs, homemade candy, italian ices.........yum.

Also, the owners are from Monroe and hoping to make a go at it.

It's pretty much an awesome place. We went there the first day they opened. Great people, good prices. I hope they get a ton of business during summer; they have Independent Dairy ice cream AND Calder's. Nom!

If they're making money with their ice cream portions, every other purveyor of ice cream is ripping you off! Unless you have a double-Dagwood appetite, don't order a double dip. What a great place!
