Do any of you handymen (or handywomen) know if Craftsman reciprocating saws take universal replacement blades? The customer "service" online chat person gave me the runaround and a totally obnoxious hard sell!  >:(  Total waste of time!! Grrrr.....

I'm not positive, but I believe they do.  I can't recall ever seeing power tool specific blades.
