Thinkin Im gald I checked out the grand opening of the Salvation Army store this morning, very cool store! what I like is they have some stuff thats brand new from stores. They had free hot dogs donuts coffee punch too

Awesome job on the mini cupcakes! 
I don't like the silicone pans either.  We have a Silpat baking sheet liner, it's fantastic for cookies, but so much of the new stuff is just useless.

I prefer to use the "old fashioned" parchment paper for cookies. Don't have to worry about cookies sticking to anything. Just pull on the paper and drag them off the sheet and onto the table to cool.

House fire at Lorain and N Monroe...

City is there with 2 trucks...  Frenchtown has 2 there and Monroetown just sent an aerial too...    a house burned in Fremchtown at Stony point earlier today!!!

Wonder if old window fans strung together with extension cords have had anything to do with the fires. This is on my mind because I have that exact rig in the girls' room right now!!

The fans themselves need to be maintained...   big thing is keep any dust out of them so the motors can stay cool...   older ones can be oiled but the newer plastic ones you just have to toss when they need oil

Extension cords can be a problem...   especially if they're really "lamp cords" (the flat ones with outlets on the end  for 3 more plugs)

You should buy and use heavier extension cords than you really need...   

and don't put them under a rug or anything else that will hold the heat in (or become fuel for a fire)!!!

I'll look for a guide on extension cord use...
