I'm thinking about my dang bathtub.  I absolutely HATE cleaning it, give me a toilet any day! Now that I've got that off my chest, does anyone have one of those no bathtub, walk in showers in their house and do they like it?

LOL! No. I don't currently have a shower stall only, but I remember from college dorm days they can be yucky to clean too! I must say, girls are notorious for leaving the bathroom absolutely gross. ( not you!!!!  )As for your cleaning dilemma, have you tried any of the after shower/bath sprays that are supposed to help keep things cleaner between actual scrubbings?

No, I haven't tried any of those . . I'm thinking about just pulling the tub out and putting a shower stall in  . . maybe like the one on the cruise ship. . . or Oh WAIT A MINUTE! Like the one in the Taj Palace I stayed in, in India . . It was beautiful, let's see, a 10 foot tall ceiling,  a rain shower head in the ceiling, a regular 10 way shower head off the wall, a luxurious seat off to one side. Tiled walls and floor, frosted glass door, fluffy towels, chenille bathrobe . . .
Back to reality:  guess I'll settle for what I have.

Erie, seriously... stop what ever you are doing, and go to the store and buy a couple cans of Kaboom foamtastic with Oxi Clean, in the purple can.  Spray it on you shower walls and tub, and wait a few minutes... after a while, hose it off.  If there is any soap scum left, it usually wipes off with a towel.  If not, apply the Kaboom again, and let it do its magic!  It is awesome stuff!

Thanks for the cleaning tip, Livewire!    I just may have to try that.    But I'd still like to have a separate shower stall like Erie mentioned......want mine to have all sides ceramic tiled, with a bench along one wall...........    I'm just dreaming, too, Erie.   Will probably be stuck with this old tub until the day I die

Thanks Live, but . . . ummm, we both know and love a certain someone who maybe used this same technique in her shower which lead to a major plumbing problem . . .    and her husband had to get . . . . ah . . paid for his labor??  Ring any bells??

LMAO!!!

YES!!  I remember that!  But it wasn't caused by the kaboom.  It was just rusted, corroded pipes, because of our Jesus water.


You DO KNOW what Jesus water is, don't you?









It's water that is so hard, you can WALK ON IT!   





And ya know, I don't recall ever getting "paid" for that repair!
