I picked up my new glasses on the 3rd and, dang it, I found the old ones this morning . . . right on my dresser . . .  :-[

Oh my goodness, Erie!!   Just as expected, you have the same little gremlins I have.   Never fails, they hide things until we replace them, and then sneak the original right back where we already looked.

That's why I keep all my single pairs of socks - I figure the gremlin will get tired of hanging on to them sooner or later...  and they eventually come in handy for cleaning jobs.

We went on a "road trip" yesterday...

back and forth across the Huron River several times...

and each and every bridge had the same sign...

considering it was very close to 100 degrees it's almost hilarious to think about:

My kids scoffed at the same kind of sign yesterday! They asked why they aren't taken down during hot weather. I explained that we live in Michigan, and for 9 months of the year, that could be a true statement!  ;D

I'm thinking, SHEESH, someone else died along the side of the road in Monroe County.  This time it was on Dixon Road.

We've had way too many deaths in the county, auto, motorcycle, bicycle and pedestrian. Be careful, can't be said too often.  :-[
