We planned a road trip for the this weekend to Cardington Ohio to visit the grandkid's and do our holiday's together. We left around 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Crazy? Maybe but I've drove in worse snow before. I figured if I concentrated on my driving and watch the other drivers it should be ok. Like Foghat.... Slow Ride, Take it easy. It is usually a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive one way. By the time we got down there around 2:00 p. The snow pretty much stopped and it started to rain. The roads in town were clear. Even the county roads to and in Cardington were clear. We stayed the night and just got back about an hour ago. Roads were clear with some mild drifting across the road but nothing major all the way back on 75. When we got off on Laplaisance Rd. That's when I knew for sure I was back. and as soon as I turned left, and started home, down to Dunbar and on Telegraph. The missed spots on the lanes and in the center of the roads.
The best part is at least the pot holes and the deep parts at the railroad track crossings were filled.
