The law went too far when it banned tobacco OUtSIDE. Of this was a public health issue there would be no exemptions for casinos or they would have outlawed tobacco outright. This is just another way for LE to harrass private clubs and individuals
Maybe the law you should go after is the one prohibiting you from removing alcohol from the bar's premises, i.e: Outside their patio.
As for harassing private clubs and businesses. You have that twisted as well. Casinos were exempted because the state has no jurisdiction over the Indian casinos so rather than lose tax revenue to the Indians, they will let all of the nicotine addicts keep lighting up and blowing money in the casinos. Simple economics.
I, like many others, don't give a flying f*&^ what you do to yourself, but I am damn glad to step into our locals pub and grubs and not smell that vile stale smoke any longer.
Anyone in favor has my vote. IThe day that L. Brooks Patterson caves to public pressure, oh wait, it just happened.
Get used to it. It's the law.
