Would you feel sympathetic if someone shot him, or if he fell out of a hunting blind or tripped over a broken down fence line?
I took strong offense at your other post as I have several people close to me who hunt. Now here you say your nephew who lives in your house is off hunting.
Were you trying to elicit a strong response?
No, I would not feel sorry for my nephew if he were injured hunting. He is aware that there is a potential danger in what he does, and he takes proper precautions. I have no right to *tell* him what to do or not to. Hunting is legal, and it's a free country. However, I am an animal activist and have a strong dislike for hunting. I think it's violent and cruel, and obviously, others don't agree with me, which is FINE. It would be a very boring world indeed if everyone in life had the same thoughts on everything.
I am entitled to my opinion (as are you), and have no qualms about stating it. If someone starts a topic and asks for opinions, I have just as much a right to state mine as you do yours. Not trying to elicit anything from anyone. Just stating my opinion, as I always do. I truly could care less what others think about my opinion and if people try to *attack* me on this board, so be it. It does not bother me, and actually kinda amuses me.
