Which reminds me, when I was in Pompeii Italy earlier this year, the guide told us that there were many sailors that came into town on a regular basis.  Many could not speak Italian, so the people of Pompeii put cement pieces, shaped like penises, into the street and on walls at street corners to show the visitors where the brothels were.   See how that trip helped me learn things??  Dang, I should have taken a picture.
