Harvest of Sorrow, an out of print (gotta love used book sellers on Amazon) book about the forced collectivization of peasant farmers in Ukraine in 1932-33 that resulted in a massive famine that killed upwards of 9 million people. A good read about the evils of Stalinist socialism.

In Ukrainian the term for this event is Holodnor. It's no less of a holocaust than what the nazis perpetrated a decade later, yet hardly anyone knows it happened.

Just started reading my 6th Brad Meltzer book since my first mention of his books on April 16th.
I'm currently reading 'Dead Even' and then I'll move to 'The Tenth Justice' and by then, I hope 'The Inner Circle' will be available in paperback.

I'm reading Guillermo Del Toro / Chuck Hogan's vampire zombie book The Strain.  I'm kind of disappointed.

I need to find a good apocalyptic thriller.  After reading Swan Song by my new favorite author Robert McCammon, I'm having a hard time finding something that even comes close.

Reading "Shadow Raiders" by Margaret Weis and Robert Krammes.

Yeah just one for now.  Pain is a *****.  Even having to make notes to do stupid stuff like water plants I am so distracted.

Read a few turkeys lately so this book is welcome and a good read.

This is what I see when I visit:

"Sorry Frenchfry, you are banned from posting and sending personal messages on this forum.
This ban is not set to expire."

No emails, no warnings, no communication whatsoever...just that ban

May be what happened to the other libs as well.

I guess disabling the report to admin link only on the lib side was indicative of the slanted games they play.

Enjoy your spoon-fed Faux News type right-wing echo-chamber.

Edited to add:

This is the only way to answer some of the questions posed:

1) I did nothing to warrant the banishment, it's political.

2) It's the router that's blocked but considering all the nonsense right-wing games being played by those running the site...it's just not worth it to bypass the banishment block.

3) The moron stalkers from MT contemplating a visit will be considered a threat and can expect to have a bad day if they act upon those idiotic thoughts.
