Nah, maybe you have not been around long enough.  John has said he refuses to read what I post before.  He usually does not respond on substance.  His statement that he could not read two posts over two days was a jab, mine was a return, and meant with humor, even if I was clumsy doing it.  I can't speak to John's mind with his jab, but I didn't take that as an insult.

As for your humorous statements.  I don't much remember what people post, not even me.  Often I have to go back and read my own to know what someone responded to me a day later.  That said, I don't remember you being humorous.  That isn't meant as insult, I just don't.  Maybe I just don't get it, or your written words didn't reflect your mood.  Sorry, but I can't answer your question.

I clearly saw that, my question is when I point out someone has a reading comprehension problem DS jumps on me about it, but fails to see the humor in it. The way I see it is someone on the left comments about the reading comprehension of someone on the right, then it is totally fine and humorous. However, when someone on the right returns the favor they get called out on it, and no one sees the humor. It should be equally applied regardless of political party.

So you truly do believe it is OK dog on special needs kids, I actually feel sorry for you. I mean it is clear you have never amounted to anything in life except a low-life degenerate felon, but to feel the need to take your frustration out on special needs kids is over the top, and I think most people here would agree. I try to stick away from attacking large groups, FF had absolutely no need to bring special needs kids into the discussion, and use it as an attempted insult. If I saw something egregious from either side I would point it out as well. My question to DS was when I comment on another posters reading comprehension I get a post with something like "There you go again acting like you are smarter than everyone", but when DS did it to JK it was just in humor, sorry, but I do not buy that it was simply humor.

It would be nice for this forum to have consistent civil discussion instead of people sticking up for their "sides", but lets be honest with each other, how long have we, and other posters, been saying that? I would guess at least two years. And I will freely admit, I am just as guilty as the next person when it comes to this.

Well, in my opinion, I believe they are 100% necessary to have. What I would like to see is some reform to them to clean up the fraud in the programs. I realize the fraud going on in the programs is not as big as people make it out to be, but I think reform to reduce the fraud would help out with views of the programs.

Truth is, "our side" can say this in I don't know how many different ways - but my guess is you will NEVER change your mind.

It is NOT the role of government to interfere in the FREE marketplace; or help people who REFUSE to work because the government destroyed their work ethic by conditioning them to hold out their hand for a check; which you proponents of big government call creating a "safety net"! 

The government has no business "managing" a person's PRIVATE property' they should PROTECT their right to acquire it, own it, and manage it themselves...if the individual selfishly choose NOT to share their wealth, then shame that individual in/out of your community; but DO NOT employ government force to MAKE them "share" - that is wholly un-American!

This has gone on way too long; now people look to the government to "solve" every problem under the Sun - nobody seems to understands that us 99% of common folk are smarter than the 1% holding political power!  Nor, do they WANT to exercise their control over what is rightfully theirs to control.
