I've found there is not much use in arguing with people that are mainly democrats and union members about something that they have been brainwashed with. They don't have to experience something to be against it or for it. They are told what they should do and they believe it.

Humorous.  “there is not much use in arguing with people that are mainly democrats and union members about something that they have been brainwashed with.”  Did you know that is said in dozens of radical right wing sites almost the same way.  Gosh, makes one seem like you are saying what you are told to.

It seems to me that Faux “News” viewers are extremely dedicated to one single cable news channel.   They, for some reason, are incredibly defensive of that single channel.  It has been factually shown that Fox went to court to prove that they can deliberately lie.  There have been internal emails proving that they deliberately falsify reporting.  That is not “BIAS” that is falsification, deliberate lies.  There is a difference.  Bias can still be factual with a slant toward one side or the other, maybe just in covering the story or not. 

It is not “bias” to heavily edit someone’s words to mean something very different than any reader/listener can get from the correct context of the person’s words.  No other “news” channel does that as a matter of course.

Maybe, just maybe, the one’s that see reality and show that Faux is possibly willingly brainwashing their dedicated viewers could be correct? 

Personally, I have no problem with the fact that Faux is completely a far right mouthpiece.  What I do not wish is for them to DELIBERATELY distort and LIE to manipulate those far too dedicated viewers.  Why is it so hard to understand that Faux viewers should be provided a right wing TRUTHFUL news channel?


As far as Faux being rated higher...  My perception is that the people that watch Faux watch it with dedication and exclusion.  Whereas, those that are not blindly following Faux use a variety of news sources.  If one side is concentrated in only one channel, and the rest spread around, the numbers would come out as shown.

I don't watch much  on any of the networks.  The all have an agenda.  Fox leans to the right.  ABC is not bad but NBC and their affiliates like MSNBC and then CNN just tell you want they want to tell you.  I get iterated with Fox at times because they say they are moderate but they always favor the republican side of view.  But they do put people on all the programs from the left.  Does anybody else do that?  NO!  But the liberals wouldn't know that because they don't watch Fox.  But they can come on here every day and tell us they lie about everything.  They get that from Rachel Madow and Huffington post.

So what can we learn from these #'s?   

People don't have to search for Fox news to find it?   
More people have to search for MSNBC news - because it's hard to find? 

We know by the actual ratings of the networks - Fox has twice as many (from recent rating results) viewers.

Actually from the #'s of search's it's probably a reasonable assumption that the MSNBC network hypes up their viewers to search for any mistake (perceived or real) made by Fox, and the vice verse isn't true as Fox doesn't hype up the other networks mistakes (perceived or real).

Every major news outlet has put their spin on that fiasco...If it's not news worthy, they will make it so it sounds real enough to stir the pot some more, and you've got willing partners right here on this forum on both sides who thrive on the turmoil...No lack of spin doctors in this world!
